Help us Celebrate Saxtead by entering our "Weathered" photo contest.

The subject is simply any photo any subject you like with a weathered connection; so it could be activities, nature, buildings, landscape, patterns, abstract of a weathered nature, it’s up to you!

Now's the time to find that great photo you've already taken or go out and snap something new and see how it compares - and you never know you could win a prize!

So get out your smartphone, tablet or camera and get clicking for that special shot!

This competition is open to anyone over 16 years old.

◘ The competition is open to amateur photographers over 16 years old, except anyone involved in the administration of the competition. Please note that if insufficient entries are received, the organisers reserve the right to cancel the competition.

◘ Photographs must be submitted as un-mounted prints on paper or thin card up to A4 size maximum. The entrants full name and email address or telephone number must be written or labelled on the back of each print. If needed, entrants may write a title and/or "top" on the face of the photo to indicate which side is the top of the photo. All prints are entered at the photographer's own risk and the organisers cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage.

◘ Photographs must have been taken by the entrant who is responsible for any necessary permissions required. Photographs of children will not be accepted without the explicit permission of their parents/guardians. The subjects must be suitable for a family audience.

◘ Photographs may be digitally manipulated prior to printing but the effect must not be obvious or produce an unrealistic image. Coloured, monochrome or tinted monochrome is allowed.

◘ The entry fee is £1 per photo with a maximum of 10 photographs per entrant. Please note that all winning and shortlisted photographs will be displayed at the Exhibition on Saturday and Sunday 21st & 22nd September between 10:00 & 17:00. The Organisers cannot guarantee that every photograph submitted by each entrant will be displayed. However, all photographs submitted by every entrant will be available for viewing by visitors to the photographic exhibition (possibly in a folder or portfolio).

◘ The competition is open for submissions by entrants until midday on Saturday 7th September 2019. The photographs and entry fee should be posted or delivered between 10:00 and 17:00 on Thursday or Friday 5th or 6th September, to Trust Farm, Spring Lane, Dennington, Suffolk, IP13 8AN.

◘ The judges will shortlist a number of photographs from which an overall winner will be chosen. The judges’ decision in this will be final. The shortlisted photographs and the overall winner will be displayed at Trust Farm as stated above. The winning entrant(s) will be announced at the prizegiving ceremony on Sunday 22nd September and notified by email (or telephone if no email address is provided). Winners could be announced on the Celebrating Saxtead Website, should they wish.

◘ Photographs may be collected by entrants between 10:00 & 17:00 on Monday 23rd September from Trust Farm. Photographs will be returned by post if the entry is accompanied by a suitable stamped addressed envelope and a list of prints entered. Any photographs remaining after this may be discarded.
